O you who believe, if you strike in the cause of GOD, you shall be absolutely sure. Do not say to one who offers you peace, "You are not a believer," seeking the spoils of this world. For GOD possesses infinite spoils. Remember that you used to be like them, and GOD blessed you. Therefore, you shall be absolutely sure (before you strike). GOD is fully Cognizant of everything you do.

O you who believe, if you strike in the cause of God, you shall investigate carefully. And do not say to he who greets you with peace: "You are not a believer!" You are seeking the vanity of this world; but with God are many riches. That is how you were before, but God graced you, so investigate carefully. God is expert over what you do.

O you who acknowledge, if you mobilize in the cause of God then make a clear declaration, and do not say to those who greet you with peace, "You are not a acknowledger!" You are seeking the vanity of this world; but with God are many riches. That is how you were before, but God favored you, so make a clear declaration. God is Ever-aware of what you do.

Ey inanca çağırılanlar! Allah'ın yolunda yürüdüğünüzde gerekli araştırmayı yapın. Size selam verene, dünya yaşamının geçici çıkarlarını gözeterek, "Sen, inanmıyorsun!" demeyin. Gerçek getiri, Allah'ın katındadır. Daha önce, siz de böyleydiniz; Allah, size lütufta bulundu. Öyleyse iyice araştırın. Kuşkusuz, Allah, yaptıklarınızdan Haberlidir.

Ey İnanıp güvenenler! Allah yolunda yürürken iyice dinleyip anlayın. Size, müslüman olduğunu bildirene[1], dünya hayatının geçici menfaatine göz dikerek: "Sen mümin değilsin!" demeyin. Allah katında çok ganimetler vardır. Bir zamanlar siz de aynı durumdaydınız; Allah size ikramda bulundu. Öyleyse iyice dinleyip anlayın. Allah, yaptığınız her şeyin iç yüzünü bilir.
