Ey iman sahipleri! İhramda olduğunuz zaman av öldürmeyin. Sizden kim kasten onu öldürürse cezası şudur: Öldürdüğü hayvana denk deve-sığır, davar cinsinden, Kabe'ye varacak kurbanlık bir hediye ki, içinizden adalet sahibi iki kişi belirleyecektir. Yahut yoksullara yedirme şeklinde bir keffaret, yahut buna denk oruç. Taki yaptığının vebalini tatsın. Allah, geçmişi affetmiştir. Kim bir daha yaparsa, Allah ondan öc alacaktır. Allah çok güçlüdür, öc alıcıdır.

Siz ey iman edenler! Hac için ihrama girdiğinizde av hayvanı öldürmeyin! Sizden kim kasıtlı olarak onu öldürürse, adil iki kişinin takdiriyle öldürdüğünün eş değerdeki hayvanı kurban edilmek üzere Kabe'ye getirerek öldürdüğüne denk bir bedel öder. Ya da yoksulları doyurmak veya ona denk olacak kadar oruç tutmak suretiyle günahının keffaretini öder. Ve (böylece) yaptığı işin vebalini hisseder. Allah geçmişi silmiştir; fakat kim yeniden işlerse, Allah ona yaptığının acısını tattırır. Zira Allah şerefin kaynağıdır, kimsenin yaptığını yanına kar bırakmayandır.

O you who believe, do not kill any game during pilgrimage. Anyone who kills any game on purpose, his fine shall be a number of livestock animals that is equivalent to the game animals he killed. The judgment shall be set by two equitable people among you. They shall make sure that the offerings reach the Ka'bah. Otherwise, he may expiate by feeding poor people, or by an equivalent fast to atone for his offense. GOD has pardoned past offenses. But if anyone returns to such an offense, GOD will avenge it. GOD is Almighty, Avenger.

O you who believe, do not kill any game while you are restricted; and whoever of you kills it deliberately, then the recompense is to value what was killed against the livestock, which shall be judged by two equitable persons from you, and to make it as a donation to reach the Ka'aba. Or, its expiation shall be in using it to feed the needy ones, while he abstains from it; that is to suffer the results of his deed; God forgives what has past. And whoever returns, then God will seek vengeance on him. God is Noble, capable of vengeance.

Or, its expiation shall be in using it to feed the needy ones, or by an equivalent fast; to taste the consequence of his deed; God forgives what has past. Whosoever returns, then God will avenge it. God is Noble, Avenger.
