Ey cinler ve insanlar topluluğu! İçinizden, size ayetlerimi anlatan ve şu gününüzle yüz yüze geleceğiniz hususunda sizi uyaran resuller gelmedi mi? "Kendi aleyhimize tanıklık ettik." dediler. İğreti hayat onları aldattı da küfre saptıklarına ilişkin, öz benlikleri aleyhinde tanıklık ettiler.

(Allah diyecek ki): "Ey görünmeyen ve görüneniyle tüm iradeli varlık türleri! Kendi içinizden, mesajlarımı size anlatan ve bu gününüzle karşılaşacağınız konusunda sizi uyaran peygamberler gelmedi mi? Onlar: "Biz kendi aleyhimize şahitlik yaparız!" diyecekler; zira bu dünya hayatı onları aldatmıştır; ve böylece onlar kendilerinin inkarcı olduklarına yine kendileri şahitlik yapmış olacaklar.

O you jinns and humans, did you not receive messengers from among you, who narrated to you My revelations, and warned you about the meeting of this day? They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves." They were totally preoccupied with the worldly life, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

"O assembly of Jinn and mankind, did not messengers come to you from among you and tell to you My revelations, and warn you of the meeting of this Day?" They said: "Yes, we bear witness upon ourselves;" and the worldly life deceived them, and they bore witness upon themselves that they were rejecters.

"O you tribes of Jinn and humans, did not messengers come to you from amongst you and relate to you My signs, and warn you of the meeting of this day?" They said, "Yes, we bear witness upon ourselves;" and the worldly life deceived them, and they bore witness on themselves that they were ingrates.
