Allah'tan başka ilah yok. Hayy'dır O, sürekli diridir; Kayyum'dur O, kudretin kaynağıdır. Ne gaflet yaklaşır O'na ne kendinden geçme ne de uyku. Göklerde ne var, yerde ne varsa yalnız O'nun dur. O'nun huzurunda, bizzat O'nun izni olmadıkça, kim şefaat edebilir! O, insanların önden gönderdiklerini de bilir, arkada bıraktıklarını da!... İnsanlar O'nun bilgisinden, bizzat kendisinin dilediği dışında, hiç bir şeyi kavrayıp kuşatamazlar. O'nun kürsüsü, gökleri ve yeri çepeçevre kuşatmıştır. Göklerin ve yerin korunması O'na hiç de zor gelmez. Aliy'dir O, yüceliği sınırsızdır; Azim'dir O, büyüklüğü sınırsızdır.

Allah, kendisinden başka ilah olmayan, mutlak diri, hayatın ve varlığın kaynağı ve dayanağıdır; ne gaflet basar O'nu, ne de uyku. Göklerde ve yerde olan her bir şey O'nundur: O'nun izni olmaksızın katında şefaat edecek olan kimmiş bakayım? O, kullarının önünde-açıkta olan şeyleri de, ardında-gizli olan şeyleri de bilir; oysa onlar, O dilemedikçe O'nun ilminden hiç bir şey kavrayamazlar. O'nun sonsuz kudret ve otoritesi gökleri ve yeri kaplamıştır; üstelik onları görüp gözetmek O'na güç gelmez: zira yüce ve azametli olan yalnızca O'dur.

GOD: there is no other god besides Him, the Living, the Eternal. Never a moment of unawareness or slumber overtakes Him. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. Who could intercede with Him, except in accordance with His will? He knows their past, and their future. No one attains any knowledge, except as He wills. His dominion encompasses the heavens and the earth, and ruling them never burdens Him. He is the Most High, the Great.
