Kendi uydurduklarını Allah'a isnat eden ya da O'nun ayetlerini yalanlayandan daha zalim biri olabilir mi? Bu tipler için yazılan (ceza)lardan onların payına düşen gelip onları bulacak: En sonunda canlarını almak için elçilerimiz geldiğinde, onlara "Nerede Allah'ı bırakıp da kendilerine yalvarıp yakardıklarınız?" diye soracak. Onlar (ise) "Bizi yüzüstü bıraktılar!" cevabını vererek, hakikati ısrarla inkar etmeleri konusunda yine kendi aleyhlerine tanıklık edecek.

Who is more evil than those who invent lies about GOD, or reject His revelations? These will get their share, in accordance with the scripture, then, when our messengers come to terminate their lives, they will say, "Where are the idols you used to implore beside GOD?" They will say, "They have abandoned us." They will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

These will receive their recompense from the record; so that when Our messengers come to terminate their lives, they will say: "Where are those whom you used to call on besides God?" They said: "They have abandoned us!" And they bore witness upon themselves that they were rejecters.

These will receive their recompense from the book; so that when Our messengers come to take them, they will say, "Where are those whom you used to call on besides God?" they said, "They have abandoned us!" and they bore witness upon themselves that they were ingrates.

Öyleyse Allah hakkında yalanlar söyleyerek iftira eden veya O'nun ayetlerini yalanlayandan, daha aşırı, kim haksızlık yapabilir? İşte onların, Kitap'tan payları kendilerine ulaşır. Sonunda elçilerimiz geldiğinde, canlarını alırken, şöyle derler: "Allah'tan başka bir de ayrıca yakarışlarda bulunduklarınız neredeler?" Derler ki: "Bizi bırakarak yitip gittiler!" Nankör olduklarına kendileri de tanıklık ederler.
