Herbirini kendi günahı ile yakaladık. Bazılarının üstüne taş yağdıran bir kasırga gönderdik. Bir kısmını, o korkunç titreşimli ses yakaladı. Onlardan, yere batırdıklarımız da oldu. Bazılarını da boğduk. Allah onlara zulmedecek değildi. Fakat onlar kendi benliklerine zulmediyorlardı.

Sonuçta her birini günahlarından dolayı enseledik: Ve onlardan kimileri üzerinde (bela) fırtınası estirdik, kimisini de sarsıcı bir azap çığlığı yakaladı; yine onlardan bizı kimseleri yerin dibine geçirdik, bazılarını da boğulmaya terk ettik: Ne var ki onlara zulmeden asla Allah değildi; ve fakat onlar asıl kendi kendilerine zulmetmişlerdi.

All those disbelievers were doomed as a consequence of their sins. Some of them we annihilated by violent winds, some were annihilated by the quake, some we caused the earth to swallow, and some we drowned. GOD is not the One who wronged them; it is they who wronged their own souls.
